Forks Township supervisors will gather Thursday for a special meeting to discuss the township's financial future.

The supervisors, who did not institute a tax hike for 2013, believe they need a five-year projection of financial costs to see what kind of shape Forks will be in. A draft of that plan has been completed and will be dissected at the meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday in municipal hall.

With supervisors debating over spending $6,000 over the Community Days fireworks display and balking at giving a $5,000 grant to a business association, officials say they are reviewing every little penny and paper clip.
