Beyond Cakes Gets Sweet Reception Tuesday

This is going to be one sweet reception.

When Antonella's bakery decided to sell its business in mid-February, the Forks Township storefront didn't stay empty for too long.

And Forks Township residents didn't lose a bakery either.

Out went Antonella's and in came Beyond Cakes, which will have its grand opening and ribbon cutting Tuesday.

The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce will hold the ribbon cutting with a welcoming ceremony at the bakery on 1700 Sullivan Trail from 5-7 p.m. and the ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m.

The event is also sponsored by the Business and Commerce Association of Forks Township.

Beyond Cakes offers all occasion cakes, pastries, cupcakes, danishes, breads, tomato pie and breakfast sandwiches.

The bakery also hosts parties for all ages.
