Palmer Township Fire Department responded to a house fire on Willow Drive at 4 a.m. and put it out in just a few minutes.

Firefighters were dispatched today at about 3:30 a.m., according to emergency scanner reports, to a house at 143 Willow Drive, just before Tatamy, in Palmer Township.

Reports also indicate that the fire was nearly out by 4 a.m., but the house was destroyed.

The Express-Times reports the family of three living there escaped without injury. The status of their cats and a dog was not certain.

Northampton County assessment records show the property is owned by Stephen O. and Helen G. Liebow.
