PB & Chocolate are great...but seriously, all of this processed sugar junk is killing us. I suppose if you are exercising and do not have a gut, then enjoy...otherwise pass on both of them so that you do not become obese.

Perhaps the poll should read, "which treats are worse?"

Uh, let’s see ….
I’ll go with Tastykake.
The Unions haven’t destroyed that company, YET.

not to mention that their new "green" plant, which received a lot of state money, hasn't done much as far as production rate.

For your information, this was hostess's plan all along. 4 ceo's in the last 6 years, and the present one is known for taking companies and selling them off

No comparison! Tastykake are far better, although they have been going down hill over the years. I don't know how Hostess ever stayed in business, they are gross!

I'm glad the Owners /stockholders of Hostess showed the Union who's boss. Unions dont get it. ...Unions dont take any of the business risk yet demand what employers should be paying their employees. The employess of Hostess should be berating Union leadership for not agreeing to a contract knowing the business cllimate for Hostess products was not good. All the union dues these folks paid went for what ???High salaried Union executives whom ignored the companies financial issues which cost 18,000 people there jobs. NOT THATS A SCAB !!!!!!
The fact that several CEO's were highly incented is not the Unions business. They dont pay Hostess overhead nor develop business plans for the company.
Just another example of why Unions have out grown their existence .

when the unions are gone all blue collar workers will make crap wages with no benifits. People like you want everyone else to make less than you.

Okay, Joe....let's just ask those who have union cards to step aside......let 'em starve. Maybe just line them up to shoot them. That would show them, right? Then EVERYONE could work Christmas, Thanksgiving (like Target and Walmart employees who are told 'you unionize, you're fired'), kiss 8 hour days, five day weeks, benefits, decent wages good by....but then that's okay, as long as it doesn't affect you directly right? That CEO at Hostess 'deserved' that 300% pay raise when the company was circling the toilet...after all, he 'showed' those greedy bastid union workers didn't he?

I was never very fond of Hostess anything. Growing up in South Jersey my loyalties are definitely with Tastykake.

For the folks who are upset because Hostess is closing due to economic climate. How many of you shop at Walmart, Target, Giant, Bottom Dollar and many more discount stores that do not allow unions? You can't have your cake and eat it too!

Mary Anne...Great response.!
To Gramma 24..... Unions dont help employees. All they do is HINDER Management of companies from finding the BEST employees and then paying those employees top dollar & benefits so they can compete in the global economy. The Union lunkheads think its still 1935 and companies will pay them minimum wage , offer poor working conditions etc. Unions were needed then....NOT NOW!
Additionally...Business owners DO NOT OWE THEIR EMPLOYEES THE RIGHT TO A JOB ...WHY ??? they dont take any of the risk and nor do the Unions., Business owners do have all the say because its THEIR INVESTMENT !!! If they arent making their targeting income or profit they have all the rights to close up shop. Thats what happened at Hostess.
By the way.,...I hope you live long enough to watch Rep Justin Simmons become a Congressmen or Senator...IT WILL HAPPEN !
