Meet the Candidates for Forks Supervisor

Lilly Gioia is running for a four-year term

Lilly Gioia said she would like to continue as a Forks Township Supervisor practicing fiscal common sense and transparency in government.

Gioia, a Democrat, has served on the board for one year, filling in the vacated seat of Michele Rogers and is currently running against three others for the one available four-year term in the upcoming May 17 primary elections.

“Growing Forks' business and tax base while keeping Forks the safe, friendly, very desirable hometown it is means putting 'Community First,'” Gioia said in a release announcing her bid for re-election earlier this year; “and that’s what we’ll do if given the privilege and honor of continuing to serve our neighbors.”

Gioia said she would also like to see the construction of the public works garage completed, and expand recreation in the township.

“There are many ways we can improve and enhance,” she said.
