It's a little more than a week away for the Miracle League of Northampton County to debut in Palmer Township.
The sign, though, just recently made its debut.
Crews are putting the final touches on the field with a ceremony and opening day planned for Sunday, Sept. 9 at 12:30 p.m.
The Miracle League field will enable children with disabilities from all over the Lehigh Valley and parts of New Jersey to play baseball on a regular basis.
Palmer Township Board of Supervisors Chairman Dave Colver and his construction company have been doing the work in constructing the field.
