Palmer Man Charged With Easton DUI

Justin Rowlands, 23, cited for drunk driving after traffic stop on North Third Street.

Easton police say a Palmer Township man who was stopped for driving without his headlights on had been drinking before he got behind the wheel.

Justin Rowlands, 23, of the 4000 block of Crestview Ave., was charged Wednesday with driving while under the influence.

According to police, Rowlands was pulled over on the first block of North Third Street at 1:57 a.m. on January 12 after an officer noticied his headlights were off.

Police say Rowlands failed a sobriety test, and was arrested on suspicion of DUI. A blood test later confirmed Rowlands' blood alcohol level was over the legal limit, police said.
