The Philadelphia Funk Authority was scheduled to play a free concert at Riverside Park in Easton 7:30-9:30 p.m. tonight but the performance has been canceled because of predicted bad weather.
Megan McBride of the Greater Easton Development Partnership announced the cancelation this afternoon. She gave no alternate date.
The band specializes in soul, R&B, funk, dance and party music from the last 40 years.

Too bad there isn't an indoor back-up site for these concerts, in event of inclement weather -- for instance, Nurture Nature Center or a High School auditorium or gym.
I hope there will be a makeup date for the Philadelphia Funk concert!
