This year's Palmer Community Days is full of surprises.

The annual summer event is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year when it takes place from Aug. 16 through 19 at Fairview Park.

The evening of Aug. 15 will have Movies in the Park.

But on Aug. 16, the official start of Community Days, a special guest known for his funny antics will appear.

Come and see the Phillie Phanatic, the beloved mascot of the Philadelphia Phillies, who will appear Aug. 16 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
