"Eat Drink Stink" proclaimed the giant balloon array over Northampton Street Saturday.

It's the well-known slogan for Easton's Garlic Fest, but it might as well serve as a warning: If you're going to eat something while you're here, it's going to contain some garlic.

Of course, that's part of the charm of the festival, which marked a decade in existence this past weekend.

The thought of garlic breath -- or the threat of a rainstorm that never came -- wasn't enough to chase the huge crowds away.

The festival in and around Centre Square featured chef demonstrations, live music, the "Dangerous Desserts" competition, and a beer and wine tasting.
