Easton Area High School's field hockey team defeated Phillipsburg Wednesday in a 2-1 sudden-death overtime win at the Phillipsburg Athletic Complex.
After a scoreless first half, Katie O'Neil put Easton on the board with a goal scored off a penalty corner.
Several minutes later the Stateliners responded with a goal, sending the game into sudden-death overtime.
A little over four minutes into overtime, senior Michelle Couch scored the winning goal and ended the team's season by beating rival Phillipsburg.

The first goal for Easton was scored by Katie McNeel, not O'Neil. Please print the correct name because you never know when a college coach will be looking for a player. :)
