Poll: Is Bushkill Drive traffic light needed?
Accidents, like a recent two-vehicle one, are common at intersection of Bushkill Drive and Northwood Avenue.
Bushkill Drive is right up there with Sullivan Trail as one of the most popular roads in Forks Township for motorists.
Near Frick Transfer, the intersection where Bushkill Drive meets Northwood Avenue over the Bushkill Creek is by far heavily commuted since it serves as an entrance into Palmer Township.
And prone for accidents, like a recent one in which two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident.
Should there be a traffic light installed at the intersection to help avoid accidents?

The more crowded that area becomes, the more need for a traffic light.
There were many accidents there in last few years not to mention the frequent
near misses. It is a hub of congestion and before a fatality occurs, something
must be done.

agreed with rose, i purposely set my blazer right in the center of northwood and no blinker on so's no one know's which way i'm go'n cause i want to see both ways, the people behind me maybe MAD AND PISSED but ya know what i will not be one of those accidents or even fatalities cause 9 times out of 10 i have my kids with me, so yea there needs to be a light or something put there and my suggestion is LIKE YESTERDAY!!!!

A traffic light at this intersection would only cause traffic to back up in all directions. What about a modern roundabout? Those tend to both increase safety, and improve efficiency over a traffic light. (Keep in mind: Roundabouts are different from the Easton Circle, and are much different than those cluster eff circles over in New Jersey.)
