Romney 'Coal' Ad Will Start Airing in Pa.

Gov. Mitt Romney is making a last-minute play to win Pennsylvania with TV ads focusing on the coal industry

TV viewers in Pennsylvania will soon start seeing a commercial from Gov. Mitt Romney's campaign targeting President Obama's stand on coal, according to a PoliticsPa report.

Do you think Romney's coal ad will help him win Pennsylvania? Tell us in the comments section below.

Recent weeks have brought speculation as to whether Romney would make a last-minute push in Pennsylvania after Obama's poll numbers dipped in the wake of the first presidential debate.

Obama held a strong lead in the Keystone State prior to the first debate and neither candidate has been spending money on the airwaves here.

Wonder if this ad will be full of lies, like his recent Jeep ad. Romney wastes no opportunity to LIE.

Visit www.politifact.com to see that he LIES MUCH MORE THAN OBAMA!

Can't trust Mitt!

Romney has set a new low in dishonesty. He has demonstrated repeatedly that he will say ANYTHING to get elected. He will tell people whatever he thinks they want to hear. The unfortunate thing is that so many misguided people are willing to believe his lies. It's a sad time for our country when someone so phony can fool so many voters. Wake up people!

Romney Condemns 47 Percent of Americans

At a private fundraising dinner, Romney shares his close-held honest views:

“There are 47 percent (of Americans) … who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe that government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it. That that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. I'll never convince them that they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.”

Let it go. Obama has said much worse and people like you never utter a peep. Nobody but Liberals give a damn about this 47% nonsense and it's so obvious to most of America that your President has to rely on this kind of garbage to get reelected because the country is in shambles. If he had a record to run on, he would have a chance.

Actually, by supporting the coal industry Romney is creating a dilemma for himself since it contradicts his belief in capitalism and free markets. Since Natural gas is a cheaper alternative than coal, he would essentially have to subsidize an obsolete and more costly energy source that is out of favor with consumers. The high cost is the primary reason for coal's decline as well as its negative environmental impact.
Don't blame Obama for the coal industry's problems. Actually, he should be praised instead for advocating education and the retraining of workers for the jobs of the future.
