The Lehigh Valley went the way of the majority of voters in re-electing President Barack Obama. We weathered Hurricane Sandy and mourned the victims of mass shootings in Connecticut, Colorado and Wisconsin.

SWT backstabbing the residents with a 58 dollar trash increase as well as increasing fees for permits while giving ALL of their employees an across the board 2.5 to 4 percent raise for the next 4 years

The election was the biggest story. Ordinary people came out in front, ahead of billionaires. Money tried to buy the election but failed. This often is not the result.
It also showed we are making slow but steady progress on our 236 year journey to actually live out those first words of the Declaration of Independence: "All men are created equal." God bless us everyone.

William....Money did buy the election.....It was Taxpayer money in the form of entitlements which sealed the election for Obama.
