Butterball's Turkey Talk-Line is famous for helping hapless cooks on Thanksgiving, but Snopes.com says some of the hotline calls have been downright strange.

Weird cases include:

• A pet chihuahua stuck inside the turkey
• A man who wanted to know how to carve his turkey with a chainsaw
• People who thawed their turkey in a bathtub while washing their kids
• Kids who put toy cars inside the turkey before it was roasted
• A woman who cooked her five-pound turkey for 24 hours
