It was a week of the good, the bad and the ugly. For Palmer and Forks residents, the good is that the Easton Area School Board appointed an interim schools chief. The bad is that it also approved another tax hike. And the ugly is that more staffing layoffs are coming down the pike. In Palmer, the good was that a new Sheetz could open before Thanksgiving.
