Running an effective group isn't easy - boards of directors, committees, advisory councils and other groups often struggle to stay focused and on task, and sometimes simply to get along with each other.

Two-Hour Tune-ups helps you understand why groups behave the way they do and provides tools and techniques for improving your group's effectiveness.  Sessions are short and lively.  You'll learn and practice new skills, so your group can get more done - and have fun doing it.

Skills will include meeting preparation and agenda development, group process, managing conflict, dealing with change, and using parliamentary procedure and concensus.

Classes are taught by Penn State Exension educators.  Classes are August 1, 8, 13, 15, and 20 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Choose one, two or all five classes.  Registration is limited, so register early.
