Forks Township was founded in 1754 as an agricultural-based community. The township's Municipal Complex is comprised of several buildings including municipal offices like the tax office, Township Manager's office and Finance office, and serves as the hub for municipal meetings such as Township Supervisors, Township Planning and Township Zoning meetings. Adjacent to the municipal building is also the township's police department building and public works facility.
