Forks Township Election

Let’s clarify the tiny little detail in the race for Forks Township supervisors. There is the “general” election piece and the “special” election segment. The general election piece can be looked at as a follow up to the primary election wh...ich took place in May this year. Three candidates are racing within this general category for TWO seats on the board, each seat to be held for a six-year term. On the other end, the special election block consists of selecting a replacement for former Supervisor David Billings who resigned in July. There are two candidates running in the special division for ONE single seat to be held for just two years. Therefore, Forks residents have the choice to vote on #November2013 for TWO supervisors for the six-year term and vote for ONE supervisor for the two-year term. There is a printing error in the #Express-Times article of September 27 bellow.
