Apple Day Coming to Easton Farmers' Market

The Easton Farmers' Market will celebrate the apple this weekend.

Last week, it was garlic.

This weekend, the Easton Farmers Market is all about apples. 

Apple Day runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, celebrating "America's favorite fruit," the market says.

All day, you can sample 20 different varities of apples from market vendors, while kids -- and adults -- can make apple-themed art.

At noon, sample hot apple cocktails from the River Grille, with the apple pie eating contest happening at 12:30 p.m.
