Five Things to Look for This Week

Here's a list of five things to look for happening in and around Palmer and Forks townships this week:

1. The Easton Area School District Parent-Teacher Organization will meet at 7 tonight. The meeting will be held at Easton Area Middle School 7/8 building, 1010 Echo Trail, Forks Township. 

2. On Tuesday, the Palmer Township Zoning Hearing Board will meet. Most notably on the agenda, First Star Bank is seeking approval for an electronic message sign board. The sign would be outside the bank, which is at the Palmer Park Mall. The meeting is scheduled for 7:30pm in the Palmer Memorial Library, 1 Weller Place.

3. It's Parent-Teacher conference week! Elementary schools throughout the district will hold parents conferences. The meetings have been set for Wednesday through Friday.

4. The Forks Township Board of Supervisors will meet at 7:30pm Thursday.  The board will likely discuss the proposed revised township recreation board ordinance. The meeting will be held in the Forks Township Municipal Building, 1606 Sullivan Trail.

5. Palmer Elementary School will host the Kofi and Sankofa Drum and Dance Ensemble at 5pm Friday. The performance will be held in the all-purpose room located at 3050 Green Pond Road.
