Time to Go Car Crazy

'Tis the season to get your motor running.

So start your engines and check out the numerous car shows planned throughout the Lehigh Valley.

Upcoming shows are planned for Forks and Palmer townships.

In Forks, the Lehigh Valley Region Antique Automobile Club of America will hold a cruise night with DJ music, door prizes and cruisers' jackpot drawing from 4 to 8pm Saturday at Salvatore's Pizza, Sullivan Trail and Town Center Boulevard. Information: lvraaca.com.

In Palmer Township, the Easton Area High School Vietnam War Memorial Fund will hold its first annual rain-or-shine Car Show with trophies, live music, food and vendors from 10am to 4pm Oct. 2 at Easton Area High School on William Penn Highway.

Gates open at 7 a.m. Car registration is $15. Spectator admission is free. Information: 610-438-1532.
