Big Woody's Opens Today

Big Woody's in Forks Township is reopening after nearly three months of repairs due to a sinkhole.

After a massive sinkhole opened up behind the on Sullivan Trial in August, the business closed for repairs and renovations until today.

Besides pulling the business out of the sinkhole, the restaurant also added more TVs, including two new projector big screens.

After Hurricane Irene, all the businesses in the strip mall where Big Woody’s is located had to close. , and reopened in September, but Big Woody’s required more work.

Zoning Officer Tim Weiss said that more than 200 yards of concrete had to be poured under the building to fill the void left by the sinkhole.

According to its website, on Saturday the Hawk, 99.9 will broadcast live at Woody's from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. with the Bud girls and The Bone live from 6 p.m. 9 p.m. with the Labatt girls.
