Workers have been working to repair a water line that ruptured on Aug. 28 causing a to open up at 1855 Sullivan Trail, right behind Big Woody’s. The five businesses located in the lot, including Big Woody’s were shut down by the township and gas lines were cut off. It is not believed that Hurricane Irene was to blame for the water line rupture.

On the website for Big Woody’s, officials for the four-chain restaurant posted an announcement saying the location until further notice. The statement goes on to say, “We are hoping that this unfortunate circumstance can be resolved as quick as possible. We will do our best to update you through our website, as much as possible. Our three other locations in Allentown are still open for business and if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email us at BigWoodys4@yahoo.com. Than you and hopefully we will be up and running again in the near future.”
