BounceU Launches College Scholarship Program

BounceU is giving away scholarships.

The indoor recreation center business—which has a location in the Park Plaza at Sullivan Trail in Forks Township—has announced a college scholarship program called "The Places You'll Go," owner Mike Principato said in a press release.

The new program will award a $500 scholarship every year to a deserving high school senior who is employed at BounceU's Allentown, Bethlehem and Forks Township locations.

"One of the great joys of owning this business is seeing the positive impact a part-time job has on a teenager, and a scholarship opportunity like this one is just another way to help them along their life's journey," Principato said.

"Balancing school and work requires self-discipline and ambition," he continued. "When a 16-year-old starts working for one of our stores, it's often their first real job. I love watching them mature into responsible young adults while still preserving that great sense of optimism youngsters have about the future."

The winner of the inaugural scholarship will be announced in early May.
