Giant Offers Mobile App for Shoppers

Giant supermarket chain announces new free applications for iPhone and Android.

 

on Monday announced that it has launched a mobile application for iPhone and Android devices, available for free at the App Store or Android Market.

Once customers have built their shopping list online, they will be able to view and check off the list using their mobile device while shopping. Customers can also access store circulars to check out everyday savings on the go and get directions to the nearest Giant.

The mobile app syncs with customers' BonusCard to provide access to their online account, allowing them to check current point totals for Gas Extra Rewards and A+ School Rewards in addition to viewing personalized savings offers.

“More customers are relying on the convenience that technology can offer and we are committed to bringing that innovation to our customers and to our stores,” said Rick Herring, president, Giant Food Stores, through a news release.
