Miniature Golf Business Looks into Mobile Home Conversion

Two T's could one day house a mobile home park.

A Forks Township golfing business is looking to create a mobile home park -- one day.

Two T’s Mini-Golf & Log Cabin Creamery on Sullivan Trail has submitted sketch plans for township feedback to possibly allow for 45 mobile homes on the lot.

Plans call for a 55-and-over mobile home park on the driving range portion of the business. The property is currently zoned to allow for mobile homes.

According to Lou Ferrone, engineer for Two T’s, the business would like to separate the driving range from the miniature golf and concession area in order to create the mobile home park. The mobile home park would be entered via an entrance that would be created from Kesslersville Road.

Outside of requesting sidewalks be built on either side of the property leading out to Kesslersville Road, township supervisors -- at their Thursday, June 2 meeting -- did not oppose the idea.

The business has been around for 15 years and flourishing, according to Two T's manager Jim Dietzler.

“Business is doing fine,” said Dietzler.

Formal plans have yet to be presented. Dietzler said there are no plans to close the business. The remaining parts of the business would continue as normal, he said.

The Two T's officials said they are not affiliated with existing nearby mobile home parks that are set back from Kesslersville Road.

Township officials, meanwhile, are doing a review of the zoning map of the entire township.
