The extra-early openings allow local shoppers access to the added-value sales many retailers are offering exclusively during the overnight hours.

"The midnight opening and exclusive discounts create an enjoyable, convenient experience for the official kickoff of the holiday shopping season," said Brian Molchany, Palmer Park Mall's general manager.

Individual store opening times and notable Black Friday offers will be posted on Palmer Park Mall’s website leading up to Thanksgiving and on Black Friday. A listing of special offers will also be available on the PREIT Malls app, available for free via iTunes or Google Play.

Starting Friday and throughout the holiday season, shoppers will be able to create and share personalized holiday e-cards and enter the mall’s $2,000 Shopping Spree Sweepstakes.

Also, Palmer Park Mall will offer a variety of promotions to enhance the shopping experience that include: extended holiday shopping hours; Santa photos, including special sessions with pets; gift-wrapping services by Center for Animal Health and Welfare, Bangor High School and The Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania, and American Express Mall Gift Cards for personal and business gift giving.

Additionally, Palmer Park Mall is supporting Lehigh and Northampton counties through the International Council of Shopping Center’s (ICSC) Shop Local campaign, which encourages consumers to shop in the community to help strengthen its economic base.

Plus, select mall retailers are partaking in Small Business Saturday, a day dedicated to supporting small businesses nationwide.

Palmer Park Mall, anchored by Boscov's and The Bon Ton, features specialty retailers Aéropostale, American Eagle Outfitters, Bath & Body Works, The Children’s Place, Christopher & Banks, GAP, Kay Jewelers and Victoria’s Secret.

The mall also includes family-favorite restaurant Carrabba's Italian Grill and a TD Bank branch.
