Photos: Forks House on the Move

The old Uhler Hotel in Forks Township will be relocated Wednesday.

It sits on a busy Forks Township intersection, an old stone home that used to be the center of attraction back in the day.

On Wednesday, the old Uhler Hotel will be relocated.

Forks Township Zoning Officer Tim Weis said the home at the intersection of Kesslersville and Uhler roads will be moved to a new nearby site.

Weis said that the building now serves as a guest house for out-of-town visitors coming to Victaulic, a world leader in piping.

He said that Victaulic contracted Wolfe house movers to move the building back from the intersection as part of an expansion plan.
