Should Airport Remain in Forks Township?

Moyer Aviation has departed Forks Township, leaving Braden Airpark empty.

The planes remain.

But Braden Airpark in Forks Township is starting to resemble a ghost town now that Moyer Aviation took flight and left the airport earlier this month.

While no official word has been delivered from the Lehigh Valley Airport Authority about the potential sale of the property, officials wonder just what might fill the void.

Moyer Aviation left Forks Township for pastures in the Poconos but no mention has been made about it at recent Board of Supervisors meetings.

So now the site across from Weis supermarket on Sullivan Trail is a shell of its former self.
