EAHS Student's Sudden Death Stuns Community

Lewis Ogioba, 15, was a basketball player on the JV squad

Area residents and students are mourning the death of a 15-year-old Easton Area High School basketball player.

Lewis Ogioba reportedly collapsed on Wednesday while playing on an area basketball court, according to an email sent to Palmer-Forks Patch. He would have been a sophomore at the high school this fall and played on the junior varsity basketball team. A cause of death has yet to be determined, but according to WMFZ Ogioba suffered from asthma.

An outpouring of wishes to the family has come in since a Facebook page for Ogioba was started earlier this week.
