Five Things, or So, To Look Out For This Week

Here are five…okay six... things to know about in Palmer and Forks townships this week:  

1.     The Palmer Township Board of Supervisors will meet at 7 tonight in the library meeting room of the Palmer Memorial Library, 1 Weller Place.

2.     The Palmer Township Planning Commission will meet at 7pm Tuesday in the library meeting room of the Palmer Memorial Library, 1 Weller Place.

3.     A special meeting has been scheduled by the Easton Area School Board Thursday. The meeting will follow the Buildings and Grounds Committee meeting at 6:30 pm. The purpose of the special meeting is to review the 2011-12 budget and other business. The Finance Committee meeting previously scheduled for Thursday (June 16) is canceled. The meeting will be held at the district Education Center, 1801 Bushkill Drive, Forks.

4.     The Forks Township Board of Supervisors will meet at 7:30pm Thursday in the municipal building, 1606 Sullivan Trail.

5.     The last day of school for Easton Area School District students is set for Thursday.

6.     State Rep. Joe Emrick, R-137th, will hold satellite office hours from 8am to noon Thursday at the Forks Township Community Center, 500 Zucksville Road.
