Five Things To Look Out For This Week

Palmer Pool Opens, Spring Yard Waste Sale

Here’s a list of five things to look out for this week in Palmer and Forks townships:

Forks Township, in cooperation with Waste Management, will be having a Spring Yard Waste Collection starting today through Friday. Yard waste will be collected at curbside. For more information, log on to the township’s website at forkstownship.org. Handouts are also available at the township community center, 500 Zucksville Road, and municipal building, 1606 Sullivan Trail.

The Business, Industrial and Professional Association of Palmer Township will host a scholarship and pavilion dedication mixer at 5:30pm Wednesday at the Charles Chrin Community Center, 4100 Green Pond Road.

Palmer Township Board of Supervisors will meet at 7pm Tuesday in the Palmer Memorial Library meeting room, 1 Weller Place.

Forks Township Planning Commission will meet at 7pm Tuesday in the municipal building, 1606 Sullivan Trail.

This Saturday is opening day for the Palmer Township Community Pool, Briarcliff Terrace Park Road. The pool will be open at 12:30pm for the Memorial Day weekend and will then be open on weekends until the regular season begins the day after the Easton Area School District closes for the summer.
