Forks Lights Christmas Tree

Forks Township Christmas tree ceremony Sunday night features Iron Pigs mascot Ferrous and a visit from Santa Claus.

"Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree..."

Forks Township lit up its Christmas tree in front of the community center Sunday night in a ceremony that featured Ferrous, a mascot for the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs, and a visit from Santa Claus.

A ceremony took place inside the community center before the tree lighting. The event was sponsored by the Forks Township Kiwanis Club.

The Easton Middle School Brass Ensemble performed along with the Forks Elementary School 4th Grade Chorus.

Forks Township Police Officer Brooks Kranich sang three songs: "White Christmas" and "The Christmas Song" before leading the crowd of 400 on "Santa Claus is Coming to Town."
