Iron Pigs Mascot to Appear at Forks Tree Lighting

Ferrous, the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs mascot, will appear at the Forks Township tree lighting ceremony Sunday night.

The popular mascot of the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs team, Ferrous, will appear at the Forks Township Tree Lighting ceremony at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Forks Township Community Center.

Ferrous will help with the festivities during the event, which includes music, the tree lighting, and a visit from Santa Claus, as well as other fun.

The Kiwanis Club of Forks Township, which sponsors the event in collaboration with the township, is asking those to attend the events that evening to bring donations of peanut butter (any kind), jelly (plastic jars only) and canned soup (any kind) for the Interfaith Food Pantry in downtown Easton.
