Larry Holmes Briefly Hospitalized

High blood sugar sends Easton heavyweight champ who lives in Palmer Township to hospital for two days.

Former heavyweight champion Larry Holmes is pledging to watch his diet after spending two days in the hospital due to high blood sugar.

Holmes—an Easton native who lives in Palmer Township—told the Express-Times he was hospitalized after feeling drowsy and lightheaded Tuesday.

“I’m all right now," he told the newspaper. "I feel good. I never had anything like this happen before, but it runs in my family.”
