Storm Warning Cancelled, Advisory in Effect

Look for 2-5 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow.

Call it an April Fools joke, eight hours early.

The National Weather Service reported just before 4 p.m. today that it had cancelled its earlier  and instead had instituted the less-serious winter weather advisory.

The advisory is in effect from 10 p.m. Thursday to 10 a.m. Friday, with the forecast calling for 2 to 5 inches of snow, with greater accumulations expected at higher elevations.
