Trick-or-Treating for Forks Saturday

Well, those ghouls and goblins had to wait a few extra days because of something more monstrous -- Hurricane Sandy.

But now that the storm has passed and Forks Township has recovered for the most part, trick-or-treating is back on.

Forks Township will hold trick-or-treating Saturday between 6-8 p.m.

The Forks Township police and fire departments will be out to keep an eye on children and to pass out candy.

It's still unknown when Palmer Township will hold trick-or-treating.

Palmer postponed the Halloween event for the time being because of extensive damage and power outages suffered from Sandy.

Palmer Township officials are expected to review the issue at Monday night's Board of Supervisors meeting.
