Weekly Road Closure and Road Work List

Here’s a list of road closures and road work in Palmer, Forks and the surrounding area this week:

Lane restrictions with flagging will be in place Tuesday along Greenwood Avenue for drainage work. Restrictions are expected to be in place from 9am to 2pm between William Penn Highway and Northampton Street. Drivers are asked to use caution while driving through the work zone.

Pothole patch work will be done along PA 512 spanning several municipalities starting Tuesday. Drivers should expect to see lane restrictions with flagging between Jaindl Boulevard and Bushkill Center Drive for the work. Work will be done between 9am and 2pm from Tuesday to Friday. PennDOT says the project is a moving operation and drivers should expect delays.

Inspection of the PA 33 Bridge will be done Monday and Tuesday in Stockertown. Drivers should expect lane restrictions from 9am to 3pm between PA 248 and PA 191 on PA 33 South on Monday and on PA 33 North on Tuesday. Inspections are planned for the North and South bridges over the Norfolk Southern and Northern railroad.
