Weekly Roadwork and Closure List

Green Pond Road, Freemansburg and Northwood avenues on the list for repaving and pothole patch work

Roadwork on Green Pond Road is expected to start Monday, according to a release posted on the Palmer Township website.

Milling and repaving of the road will extend from Nulton Avenue east to Greenwood Avenue. The work will also be done along Greenwood Aveue south to William Penn Highway. Drivers can expect PennDOT flagging crews to be out and traffic to be reduced to one lane until the project is completed. Completion is expected by the end of August.

Pothole patchwork will be done along Freemansburg Avenue in Palmer Township starting Tuesday. Drivers can expect lane restrictions with flagging from 9am to 2pm from Willow Park Road and Butler Street. The project, which will extend through Palmer and Bethlehem townships and Wilson, is expected to be complete by Friday.
