What's Open/Closed on Labor Day

Most stores will be open, but banks and government offices are closed for Labor Day holiday.

It's the last "unofficial" day of Summer.

So Monday is a great day to soak up the sun at least one more time, do a little bargain shopping or hang out with family and friends for an End-of-Summer barbecue.

Some places in Forks and Palmer townships will be open Monday for the Labor Day holiday.

But if you want to mail a letter, cash a check or take out the trash, you're going to have to wait a day until Tuesday.

What's open:

  • The will be open with hours from 12:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., weather permitting. It's the last day the pool is open for the year.
