Sacred Big Band Concert Benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project

Join the members and friends of Palmer Moravian Church in an exciting morning worship service featuring the Vince Pettinelli Sacred Big Band.  The Sacred Big Band is an 18 piece ensemble led by Vince Pettinelli (on trumpet), who is the Phillipsburg Middle School band director.  Donations will be taken for the Wounded Warrior Project.  The church's own handbell and vocal choirs will also participate in the service.  This service begins the Don't Just Go to Church, BE the Church day.  The service will be followed by a free brunch, and then everyone is invited to participate for an hour or two in one of 11 projects to help the community.  These include a Bushkill Creek clean-up project, preparing casseroles for the sick or bereaved, writing cards to the homebound or in care facilities, knitting scarves  which will be donated to those in need, preparing a simple meal for families at the Third Street Alliance, a free community car wash, advocacy letter writing, crafting and visiting project, purchasing food supplies and filling backpacks for the Backpack Project, planting flowers on the Palmer Township Bikepath, etc.  All are welcome!
