Capital BlueCross Sponsors Annual Early Childhood Education Conference

The Lehigh and Northampton Association of the Education of Young Children (LANAEYC) is pleased to announce that Capital BlueCross has signed on as a sponsor of their annual professional development day for early childhood educators.  Educators will be able to earn professional development hours when they join their peers and attend the all-day conference taking place on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at The Holiday Inn Express, 90 Kunkle Drive, Easton.

This year’s conference theme is “Through the Eyes of a Child.”  Conference attendees will participate in an interactive workshop led by Lois Wachtel, a former early childhood director and teacher, who has eighteen years of experience in the early care and education field.

“The health of all children is a big priority for Capital BlueCross. So during this time, with today’s unstable economy and more families than ever scrambling to find quality healthcare for their children, we are busy promoting the free and low-cost Children’s Health Insurance Program and developing community partnerships with organizations like LANAEYC…”, said Kim Capers, Outreach Coordinator for Capital BlueCross, “We are truly committed to finding and enrolling as many eligible children as possible.”
