Soccer Fields

I read in the paper today that the Supervisors have approved the 3 new soccer fields in Forks Twsp without taking into consideration the neighbors concerns. This will effect the 100 yr old fox den and the home of a bog turtle, which is on the endangered species list.

I will try to contact the US Fish & Wildlife Service and see what is the law for building around an endangered species home and what can be done since this has been approved. I know the developer says the irrigation and drainage is approved by the PA Dept of Env Protection, but so was the drainage at the Country Club and you all know how that has turned out for the neighbors there.

Lets get it approved and built and worry about the consequences at a later date and just walk away. Leaving the mess for the people to live with.

I will see what can be done to stop this developer from destroying this fox den and turtle home. About the only wildlife that is left in Forks with all the building the Supervisors are allowing. I do not know of any other fox den or turtle home around here. People in Forks should be outraged.  Give it a few more years and Forks will be like Palmer where it takes 30 -40 minutes to get thru your community due to traffic. So much for preservation.
