Lewisburg Applebee’s Raises Over $6,300 for Camp Cadet

The Rose Group, a leading franchisee of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar restaurants in eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and Delaware, hosted its eighth annual Celebrity Service Night for Camp Cadet at the Lewisburg, PA location on Wednesday, February 26th. More than a dozen of the area’s state troopers participated in the special event that raised over $6,300 for the youth development program.

“We are honored to host the Camp Cadet Celebrity Service Night for the eighth year in a row,” says Jeff Warden, CEO of The Rose Group. “Camp Cadet provides children with a worthwhile experience and we are so proud to be a contributor to the program. We look forward to doing it again next year!”

Established in 2004, Camp Cadet is a weeklong self-esteem and team-building program for children ages 12-15 that teaches children the importance of teamwork and discipline through military drills, classes and demonstrations geared towards first aid and life skills.

For the eighth consecutive year, Applebee’s of Lewisburg partnered with the Susquehanna Valley State Police for a Celebrity Service Night. Local law enforcement officials swapped roles with Applebee’s staff for the four-hour event. All money raised will go towards providing food, lodging and uniforms for the campers.

Since Applebee’s began its partnership with the Susquehanna Valley State Police, over $55,800 has been raised for Camp Cadet.
