Poll: Is a Regional Skate Park Needed?

Easton says it could cost up to $250,000 to build skate park. Palmer says its share is too high. What do you think?

Easton is waiting on three of its neighbors -- the borough of Wilson and Forks and Palmer townships -- to decide what it wants to do about the construction of a .

Of the three, Forks might be the most important, Easton Councilwoman Elinor Warner told the Morning Call Friday.

Palmer Patch also reported that Palmer Township officials recently said the township's share would be too high to contribute to a regional park.

Meanwhile, Forks Township did not address the issue at its Board of Supervisors meeting Thursday.

It would cost between $150,000 and $250,000 to build the park. Under the most expensive scenario, Easton would pay $95,000.
