With the end of Summer Reading finally upon us, the Palmer Branch librarians are getting ready for September storytimes. You can sign up for Fall storytimes starting September 1st (tomorrow). The storytimes will run from September 12th through October 19th. News on holiday storytimes (November/December) coming soon.
The Palmer Evening Book Club will be meeting on September 27th to discuss THE BOY WHO CAME BACK FROM HEAVEN. At August's meeting, several members picked books for 2012. Stop in the library for a list of the rest of 2011's book discussion titles.
The Book Group will be meeting in October at Lafayette College to hear bestselling author Chris Bohjalian speak. More news on the event coming.

On Saturday, August 27th librarians Ashley and Katie (from Youth Services at Main) went to West Chester for the 2nd annual PAYA: Bringing YA to PA Libraries. Look for donations to be added to both libraries within the next few weeks. Thank you, PAYA!
