The Forks Township Police Department has issued a warning to residents about numerous reports of thefts from automobiles over the holiday weekend.
Police say the thefts took place around the De Maria/Adrian/Trails End area of the township.
Residents are advised to take the simple precautions of locking their car doors and keeping valuables out of sight or removing them from the car.
Doing these two things greatly reduces your chances of being a victim.
