Burglar Makes Splash Taking Cash at Palmer Pool Business

Police seek help in solving pool business crime.

The Palmer Township Police Department is seeking information regarding a burglary earlier this week at a pool business.

The burglary at Northampton Pool and Patio at 4500 William Penn Highway took place Sunday night and was reported Monday morning, police said.

Police say a door at the business was forced open after hours. Authorities say the burglar took an undetermined amount of cash from a register inside the store.

Sgt. Timothy Ruoff said Northampton Pool and Patio had no surveillance of the incident. Other neighboring businesses were also closed at the time of the break-in, he said.
