Cadets Get Visit From Rescue Helicopter

Forks Summer Police Academy sees inside PennSTAR rescue helicopter

Young cadets attending the Forks Summer Police Academy Monday got a chance to see the inside of a PennSTAR rescue helicopter after a fly-in and demonstration on their first day at the academy.

Later in the week, the cadets will see demonstrations of a police motorcycle and the skill of a K-9 dog. The summer program, which will be held all week, is run by the Forks Township Police Department.
